摄影师介绍：Marcelo Gomes，生于巴西的年轻摄影师。2003年移居纽约后，任职于Index magazine。工作中认识了自己的摄影导师Mark Borthwick，之后开始自由摄影师的工作，并形成自己独特的摄影风格。Taciturn Heart是独立出版社hassla为Marcelo Gomes出版的第二本书。第一本为Love and Before, Green and After。

Born in Brazil, Marcelo lives and works in New York. He attended the University of Iowa on a full athletic scholarship (basketball) and graduated with a B. A. in Political Science. In 2003 Marcelo moved to New York and began working at Index Magazine where he met photographer Mark Borthwick. He assisted Mark for two years before starting to shoot on his own in 2008.

东京住独立摄影师Hiroshi Kiyonaga的初次写真集［Fro st］。只身踏入北方之地，寂静的冻结期北国，霜雪覆盖下的原野，优雅、天真和坚韧，仿佛与世界隔离。脱离场景的惯常表达，清永洋的摄影作品让自然的原色通过光与影，细腻地述说一个落雪下隐匿之事，富有戏剧化。残忍、凶猛、铺天盖地，人与自然的对抗和融和。在时间和地点，天气和温度构造的情结里，切断的镜头忽而闪现，时间凝固在冰川中，树枝上，寒霜里。

Frost is the first independent book by Tokyo-based photographer Hiroshi Kiyonaga and contains the images he captured on his journey to the north-east region of Japan during the quiet mid-winter. The landscapes in Frost appear covered up, as if submerged by the blanket of snow. The book’s images are highly effective in showing nature as both pure, immaculate and innocent; and yet at the same time, as a severe, treacherous and unforgiving force. Kiyonaga’s photographs also capture the strong sense of humanity which continues to exist even in this harsh and remote environment. Rather than depicting nature in the more usual dramatic artistic terms; as a force of grandeur, ferociousness, cruelty and confrontation, the images in Frost provide a more stark and honest representation of the wild and unadorned reality of nature.

摄影师介绍：清永洋（Hiroshi Kiyonaga），1978年生于日本福冈。1998年毕业于九州艺术工科大学，2003年起成为自由职业摄影师。经常合作的杂志包括：「OZmagazine」、「MACPOWER」、「カメラ日和」、「日経WOMAN」、「GOETHE」、「Number」、「Re:S」。同时也多活跃于网络平台作品的发表和群展中。

Author Profile:

Hiroshi Kiyonaga is a Tokyo-based photographer, who has predominantly shot for magazines and textbooks, journals and essays. Since graduating in 2003, Kiyonaga has worked primarily as a freelance photographer.

以自由、快门摄影风格著称的青年摄影师马蒂2011年6月推出了自己的第二本摄影作品集Dali Island《大理岛屿》。Dali Island vol.1是她于2008年开始拍摄的Photo Story系列第一册，收录的是2008年与2010年夏天的大理故事。

Making A Map是本朴素干净的小摄影书，翻开就有了惊喜，有种“等了很久终于遇到你了”的感觉，兴奋又让人珍惜。

摄影师介绍：
Noda Wakaba,1984年生于日本福冈，2003年至现在学习生活于瑞典。Maing a Map是Noda的第一本摄影集，由Farewell于2008年为她出版印制。

Farewell Books: 2007年由摄影师Mårten Lange创立的独立出版社，制作简单，干净纯粹的高质量风格摄影作品集。2010年Farwell Books出版计划结束，所有出版书籍不再印。
